The traditional craftsmanship of a saddler is a skill developed over many years and for high class production takes a great deal of time. Production of Steedsman saddles is growing year on year. As demand outstrips supply the time has come to develop the traditional and add in a modern twist.
The website highlights details of the first saddlery company in the UK to invest in cutting edge computerised leather cutting technology. A video of the Computerised Numerical Cutting (CNC) machine emphasises how such progression can enhance company development. The investment has been essential to keep up with demand for the luxury handmade jumping and dressage saddles manufactured at extended premises in Telford.
